How to use your RIVA ONE

Installation takes about two minutes. No plumber, no tools, no mess. Here is exactly how to do it.

Installation, in one sentence

Unscrew your old shower head, screw the RIVA ONE on hand-tight, then run the water for 30 seconds to prime the filter. That is the whole job.

Step by step

• 1. Remove your old head. Twist it anticlockwise off the shower arm or hose. RIVA ONE fits the standard 1/2 inch BSP fitting used in Australian bathrooms.
• 2. Screw on your RIVA ONE. Hand-tight is all it needs. No tape or tools required for a snug seal.
• 3. Prime the filter. Run warm water through the head for 30 seconds before you step in. This activates the core and flushes it clean.

Keep it filtering

The dual filter core works hard, so it needs replacing every 3 months. A spent core stops protecting your skin and hair long before it stops flowing.

Common questions

Will it fit my shower?
Yes. RIVA ONE screws onto the standard 1/2 inch BSP arm or handheld hose found in Australian bathrooms. If your current head unscrews, RIVA screws on.

Why do I need to run the water for 30 seconds first?
A new carbon core carries a little harmless carbon dust. Priming flushes it out and saturates the Vitamin C and KDF media. The water runs clear and the filter is ready.

Will I lose water pressure?
No. The oval-loop head pushes water through 1,200 micro-jets, so you get a dense, even spray at full pressure.

How do I know when to swap the core?
Every 3 months, regardless of how it looks. Filter Club deliveries arrive on that schedule, so the fresh core turning up is your reminder.
